Una mujer estornuda un taco de billar por la nariz

Hay congestiones que no hay remedio que las quite. Es el caso de la británica Chantel Faill, de 31 años, que llevaba los 12 últimos años sufriendo constantes dolores de cabeza, infecciones y síntomas parecidos a la gripe sin saber por qué.
Hasta que un día estornudó con mucha violencia y lanzó sorprendentemente por el orificio nasal la punta de un taco de billar que llevaba allí alojada desde un día de 1999. Ese día un amigo suyo, celebrando la victoria,  le metió sin querer un palo de billar por la boca que acabó llegando al hueso de la mejilla
Chantel fue llevada al hospital, pero nadie se dio cuenta que al sacar el palo en el bar, la punta del taco del billar se había quedado dentro. Allí los médicos le dieron solamente alivios para el dolor. Al no hacerle rayos X no vieron que la punta del palo había atravesado el hueso de la mejilla y había llegado a una fosa nasal.
Desde entonces Chantel ha vivido sufriendo continuas congestiones y los sucesivos exámenes médicos no pudieron descubrir la causa de su catarro y sus dolores.
La mujer definió como "un momento de gran consternación" el instante en el que se dio cuenta de qué era lo que acaba de estornudar. Más tarde se tuvo que someter a cirugía para terminar de extraer todos los restos

que habían quedado en la nariz.

A partir de ahora es algo seguro que celebrará sus victorias al billar menos efusivamente.

A woman sneezes a pool cue through the nose

There are some congestions with no way to remove them. This is the case of the british Chantel Faill, 31, who had the last 12 years suffering constant headaches, infections and flu-likesymptoms without knowing their reason.
Until one day she sneezed very violently and surprisingly released by the nostril tip a pool cue that was housed there since a day of 1999. That day a friend, celebrating the victory, accidentally shoved a pool cue over the mouth reaching the cheekbone
Chantel was taken to hospital, but nobody realized that by removing the stick in a bar, the pool cue tip was left inside. There the doctors gave her only for pain relief. They didn't give her X-ray so they coudn't see thar the end of the stick had pierced the cheek bone and had come to one nostril.
Chantel has lived so far suffering continual congestion and subsequent medical tests failed to discover the cause of his cold and pain.
The woman described as "a time of great dismay" the moment when she realized what she has just sneezed. She later had to got to surgery to finish removing all traces who remained in the nose.
From now it's sure she will celebrate her victories at the pool less warmly.
