Una de las sensaciones del año pasado, fue sin duda alguna el tema "Somebody That I Used to Know" del multiinstrumentista Wouter De Backer, conocido musicalmente como Gotye.
Este single formaba parte de su tercer álbum en solitario titulado Making Mirrors, y en él estaba acompañado por la preciosa voz de Kimbra. Gotye es un músico contrastado con varios premios a sus espaldas y con un directo de los que merecen la pena contemplar.
Lo curioso del tema de Somebody That I Used to Know, es que pese a tener unos meses de vida, ya le han salido varias versiones, y sobretodo una de ellas, la de Walk off The Earth, ha supuesto una de las revelaciones en Youtube y ahora supera los 70 millones de visitas. Cada integrante del grupo se encarga de una función diferente: uno golpea la caja de la guitarra a modo de batería, otro se encarga de las notas agudas, otro de las graves etc...
Tanto Gotye como Kimbra, han alabado el trabajo de este desconocido grupo canadiense.
