Se tatuará 100000 URLs en su cuerpo

Un joven canadiense de la ciudad de Quebec llamado Pat Vaillancourt ha decidido tatuarse por todo su cuerpo 100.000 direcciones web.
Esta excentricidad tiene como objetivo recaudar fondos para las víctimas del terremoto que sacudió Haití en el 2010.
"Soy una persona espontánea, con convicciones y pasional. No temo participar en proyectos no convencionales como éste", declaró Vaillancourt. El joven está buscando sponsors que le paguen 35 dólares por que la dirección de su página web quede permanente en su piel.
El objetivo de este canadiense es batir el récord mundial de más direcciones web tatuadas en el cuerpo y una vez que llegue a las 100.000 prometió que donará más de la mitad a organizaciones de caridad para ayudar a Haití.

A young canadian of the city of Quebec called Pat Vaillancourt has decided to tattoo 100,000 web addresses all over his body .
This eccentricity aims to raise funds for victims of the earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010.
"I'm a spontaneous person, with conviction and passion. I'm not afraid to participate in unconventional projects like this one," said Vaillancourt. The young man is looking for sponsors to get paid $ 35 for having their websites URLs on his skin for good.
The target of this canadian is to break the world record of most web addresses tattooed on the body and once he reaches the 100,000 he promised he will donate more than t half of it to charities to help Haiti.

Condenado a pagar 10000 euros por no tener relaciones sexuales

En la sentencia emitida en mayo de 2011 y revelada ahora, el Tribunal de Apelaciones de Aix-en-Provence (sudeste de Francia) condenó a un hombre a pagar la cantidad de 10.000 euros a su ex esposa en concepto de daños y perjuicios por no haber mantenido relaciones sexuales durante años.

La mujer, casada con él desde 1986 y madre de dos hijos interpuso una denuncia contra su ex marido alegando que en los últimos años de su relación su marido se negaba rotundamente en todas ocasiones a tener relaciones sexuales con ella, hecho que había terminado por acabar con su matrimonio.

El tribunal le dio la  razón a la mujer basandonse en el artículo 1382 del código civil, que prevé que cualquier persona que causa "daño" a otra debe repararlo.

Sin duda alguna, no hay lugar para hombres tan malvados en un país reconocidamente amoroso como es Francia.

Fined 10000 euros for not having sex

 In the decision issued in may 2011 and revealed now, the Court of Appeal of Aix-en-Provence (southeastern France) sentenced a man to pay the amount of  10,000 euros to his ex-wife by way of damages for non-having sex for years.
The woman, married to him since 1986 and mother of two children reported a complaint against her former husband, alleging that in the last years of their relationship her husband flatly refused on all occasions to have sex with her, a fact which had come to end his marriage.
The court ruled in favor of women basing on in the 1382 article of the Civil Code which provides that any person who causes "harm" to another person must repair it.
Undoubtedly, there is no place for men as evil in a country like France that is known for love.

En nueve años trabajó seis días cobrando todos los meses

Una funcionaria italiana de 44 años llamada Silvia S. se ha convertido en la nueva reina del absentismo laboral. Durante 9 años, sin dejar de cobrar su sueldo durante un solo mes, tan solo acudió a su trabajo en el Hospital Policlínico Universitario Santa Ursula Malpighi de Bolonia seis veces contadas.
Toda esta historia comenzó en 2002, cuando dió a luz a su primera hija. Entonces decidió dedicarse exclusivamente al cuidado de su bebé pero sin dejar de cobrar su sueldo, para ello puso en marcha un plan de engaños y estafas. Primero hizo que le diagnosticasen un tipo de dermatitis que presuntamente habría contraído en el hospital.
A partir de 2003 los engaños cada vez eran mayores. En ese año se inventó que estaba embarazada de nuevo e hizo que se le certificará un embarazo de riesgo. Después de esos 9 meses dijo que había dado a luz en España (todo esto amañando documentos, falsificando certificados...). Incluso incluyó a ese falso hijo en la declaración de la renta para poder desgravárselo.
En 2008 repitió el guión al pie de la letra: dijo que había dado a luz en España e incluyó al tercer falso hijo en la declaración de la renta de nuevo.
En el pasado junio, visto que tan solo había ido a trabajar seis días el hospital decidió despedirla y denunciar su caso.
Silvia S. está en arresto domiciliario, acusada de fraude agravado al Estado, un delito por el que le podrían caer hasta cinco años de cárcel, y de otro de falsedad de documentos por el que podría ser condenada a pasar dos años entre rejas.
Al menos cuando esté en la carcel podrá recibir las visitas de sus dos hijos imaginarios.

In nine years she worked six days with a salary every month

A 44-year-old italian goverment employee called Silvia S. has become the new queen of absenteeism. During 9 years, with a salary every month, she just went to work at the Santa Ursula University Hospital Malpighi Polyclinic in Bologna six times.
This whole story began in 2002 when she gave birth to her first child. She decided to devote exclusively to the care of her baby but still collect his salary, for it she launched a plan of deception and fraud. First she was diagnosed a type of dermatitis that she have allegedly contracted in the hospital.
Since 2003 the deceptions were bigger and bigger. In that year she made up she was pregnant again and had a risky pregnancy. After these 9 months she said she had given birth in Spain ( fudging documents, falsifying certificates ...). She even included the false child  in the statement of income to tax-deductible.
In 2008 she repeated the story, she said she had given birth in Spain and included the third false son in tax income again.
Last June, the hospital decided to fire her and report her case because she went to work just six days.
Silvia S. is under house arrest on charges of aggravated fraud to the state, a crime for which she could drop up to five years in prison, and another of forgery for which she could be sentenced to spend two years behind bars.
At least when she's in jail she may receive visits from her two imaginary children.

Polémica campaña de Benetton: Unhate

Ya estamos todos acostumbrados a las creativas, impactantes, curiosas y geniales campañas publicitarias de Benetton. Esta vez se han superado a sí mismos y nos han conseguido sorprender más que nunca.
La nueva campaña se basa en la controversia para lograr llamar la atención.
En los carteles publicitarios se pueden ver a grandes personalidades del mundo actual besándose en los labios. A esto se le une que quienes están besandose son los que suelen estar mas en desacuerdo o conflicto. Algunos ejemplos son: Barack Obama y Hugo Chávez, Nicolas Sarkozy y Angela Merkel, el Papa Benedicto XVI y el imán egipcio Ahmed Mohamed el-Tayeb, los líderes de Corea del Norte y Corea del Sur así como el presidente palestino y el primer ministro israelí entre otros.
Se trata de una campaña por la paz llamada Unhate (contra el odio) que fue diseñada especialmente para internet y que nos propone cambiar el odio por amor. Según Alessandro Benetton, vicepresidente ejecutivo de la empresa: “Si el amor global sigue siendo una utopía, aún tan compartida, la invitación a ‘no odiar’, a combatir la ‘cultura del odio’, representa un objetivo ambicioso pero realista”

We're all accustomed to the creative, stunning, strange and brilliant advertising Benetton campaigns. This time they have outdone themselves and have managed to surprise us more than ever.
The new campaign is based on the controversy to get attention.
On the billboard we can see today's world great personalities kissing on the lips. This is joined by the fact that those who are kissing are the ones who are more in a disagreement or conflict. Some examples are: Barack Obama and Hugo Chavez, Nicolas Sarkozy and Angela Merkel, Pope Benedict XVI and Egyptian imam Mohamed Ahmed el-Tayeb, the leaders of North Korea and South Korea and the Palestinian president and Israeli prime minister and others.
It's a peace campaign called Unhate which was designed especially for the internet and that proposes to change hate for love. According to Alessandro Benetton, executive vice president of the company: "If the global love remains a utopia, even so shared, the invitation to 'not hate'  to fight 'culture of hatred' represents an ambitious but realistic target"

Sufre un derrame cerebral y se convierte en gay

No todos saben que los derrames cerebrales pueden producir cambios emocionales, un caso de los más llamativos es el de Chris Birch, un inglés de 26 años.
Antes del accidente, Chris era un joven jugador de rugby que trabajaba en un banco, tenía las aficiones normales de un chico de su edad y era totalmente heterosexual, incluso tenía una novia con la que se había prometido recientemente.
Todo sucedió cuando, en un entrenamiento, Chris quiso impresionar a sus amigos haciendo una voltereta en el aire hacia atrás con la mala suerte de que cayó mal y sufrió un derrame cerebral.
Fue rápidamente trasladado al hospital, cuando despertó sus primeras palabras fueron: "Soy gay".
Desde entonces su vida ha dado un giro de 360 grados. Ya no le interesa el deporte le ha cambiado la personalidad y no sale con sus viejos amigos. Ha dejado su trabajo en el banco para dedicarse a la peluquería, se ha hecho un cambio de look y ahora tiene un novio de 19 años. "Odio todo lo referente a mi vida anterior" explicó.
Según expertos, el golpe no ha podido ser el origen de su orientación sexual. Muchos opinan que el chico tenía ya esa orientación oculta pero el golpe la ha sacado a la luz. Una extraña manera de salir del armario.


He suffered a stroke and became gay

Not everyone knows that strokes can cause emotional changes, one of the most striking case is Chris Birch's, a 26-year-old englishman.
Before the accident, Chris was a young rugby player who worked at a bank, had normal hobbies of a boy of his age and was completely heterosexual, he even had a girlfriend with whom he'd recently engaged.
It all happened when, during a training, Chris wanted to impress his friends doing a back somersault in the air but he had bad luck and he fell and suffered a stroke.
He was quickly taken to hospital, when he woke up his first words were: "I'm gay."
Since then his life has turned 360 degrees. He's no longer interested in sport, his character has changed and he doesn't go out with his old friends. He has left his job at the bank to start being a hairdresser, he has a new look and now he has a 19-year-old boyfriend. "I hate everything about my life before," he said.
According to experts, the stroke can't be the source of his sexual orientation. Many people believe that the boy had hidden that orientation and that blow has brought it to light. A strange way to come out of the closet

Detenido por robar 3000 carros de la compra

La Policía Nacional detuvo a esta semana a Juan Antonio R.C. de 37 años, el cual tenía antecedentes de robo y llevaba desde principios de año robando carros de la compra de distintos supermercados de la Comunidad de Madrid en pequeñas cantidades.
La detención fue posible gracias a que representantes de varios establecimientos comerciales habían interpuesto una denuncia por la desaparición de numerosos carros de la compra. Para terminar con estos robos se instaló un sistema de localización GPS en algunos de ellos.
Uno de estos dispositivos alertó de que se había alejado del perímetro del centro comercial y de que se situaba en una calle del distrito de Puente de Vallecas. Allí tuvo lugar la detención de Juan Antonio.
Se inspeccionó una chatarrería del barrio de Vicálvaro y se encontraron 29 carritos de la compra. Por ello se detuvo a la propietaria y al encargado de la empresa como presuntos autores de un delito de receptación.
Según los propios centros comerciales, los beneficios que el ladron pudo obtener por el robo y posterior venta de los carros asciende a 290.000 euros.

Arrested for stealing 3000 shopping carts

The National Police arrested this week Juan Antonio R.C., a 37-year-old man who had been stealing shopping carts since the beggining of this year from different supermarkets in the Community of Madrid in small quantities.
The arrest was possible because representatives of some commercial establishments had reported a complain about the disappearance of many shopping carts. To stop these thefts they installed a GPS tracking system on some of them.
One of these devices had been warned away from the perimeter of the mall and was located on a street in the district of Puente de Vallecas. There, the arrest of Juan Antonio took place.
They inspected a junkyard of the neighborhood of Vicálvaro and found 29 shopping carts. Because of it the owner and the manager of the company were arrested as alleged perpetrators of the crime of receiving stolen goods.
According to the shopping centre, the benefits that the thief was able to obtain for the theft and sale of carts amounted to 290,000 euros.

Y la prostituta se convirtió en burro

El mundo animal está cada vez más unido al humano. Una prueba de ello es lo que pasó hace pocos días en Mandava, una ciudad de Zimbabwe.
Un hombre de 28 años llamado Sunday Moyo fue sorprendido por la policía mientras copulaba con un burro. El joven fue detenido, acusado de bestialismo y llevado ante un juez. Sus declaraciones ante éste no dejaron a nadie indiferente. Aseguró que había pagado 20 dólares en un bar del pueblo por los servicios de una prostituta pero que ella se había convertido mágicamente en un burro.
“Creo que también soy un burro. No sé lo que ocurrió cuando me fui del bar ni cómo se transformó, pero estoy realmente enamorado del burro”, dijo.
No faltaron las risas en los juzgados al oir las declaraciones. Tras escucharlas, el juez ordenó que el acusado fuese sometido a un examen psiquiátrico.
Un caso sin duda insólito, habrá que esperar al testimonio del burro para aclarar el misterio.


And the prostitute became a donkey

The animal world is increasingly linked to the human one. Proof of this is what happened recently in Mandava, a city of Zimbabwe.
A 28-year-old man named Sunday Moyo was caught by the police while copulating with a donkey. The young man was arrested under charges of bestiality and brought before a judge. His testimony left no one indifferent. He said he had paid $ 20 in a local pub for the services of a prostitute but that she had magically turned into a donkey.
"I think I'm a donkey too. I don't know what happened when I left the bar and how it changed, but I'm extremely in love with the donkey, "he said.
There was a lot of laughter when he declared. After hearing him out, the judge ordered that the defendant were subjected to a psychiatric examination.
This is without any doubt an unusual case, we should wait for the donkey's testimony to clarify the mystery.

La DGT multa a Tom Hanks y Julia Roberts por ir en moto sin casco

Podría parecer una broma pero no es así. La Dirección General de Tráfico ha multado a la película Larry Crowne. Nunca es tarde porque en su cartel promocional aparecen los dos protagonistas en una moto de baja cilindrada sin casco. La distribuidora de la cinta en España TriPictures deberá pagar una multa de 30.000 euros.
La DGT justifica su sanción teniendo en cuenta que la Ley de Tráfico prohíbe en su artículo 52 expresamente "la publicidad en relación con vehículos a motor que ofrezca incitación a la velocidad excesiva, a la conducción temeraria o a situaciones de peligro".
Según TriPictures esta multa se debe al afán recaudatorio de la DGT y no es realmente una medida a favor de la seguridad vial ya que Tráfico tiene abiertos alrededor de 230 expedientes por motivos similares. "Al principio pensamos que se trataba de una broma" declararon desde la distribudora.
Esta penalización es aún más llamativa por el hecho de que en la película ambos protagonistas aparecen en todas las escenas de moto con casco. La fotografía del cartel es tan solo una imagen de estudio. La primera imagen que barajaba Universal Pictures en Estados Unidos para exponer como publicidad tenía a Tom Hanks y Julia Roberts llevando un casco pero la distribudora pensó que era más atractiva una imagen en la que se pudiesen ver con más detalle las caras de ellos dos.
¿Realmente un cartel influye tanto en nuestro comportamiento? Personalmente pienso que la multa es innecesaria porque no supone en absoluto un peligro real para nadie.

DGT fines Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts for riding scooter without helmet

It might look like a joke but it is not. The spanish Department of Motor Vehicles (Dirección General de Tráfico) has fined the movie Larry Crowne because in its promotional poster the two stars of the movie are in a small motorcycle without a helmet. The tape's distributor in Spain Tripictures must pay a fine of 30,000 euros.
The DGT justified  its sanction because Traffic Law's Article 52 prohibits explicitly "advertising in relation to motor vehicles that give incitement to excessive speed, reckless driving or dangerous situations. "
According to Tripictures this penalty is due to the tax collection effort of the DGT and is not really a measure for road safety and that traffic has about 230 open cases for similar reasons. "At first we thought it was a joke," declared from the distributor.
This penalty is even more striking by the fact that both protagonists in the film appear in every motorcycle scene of motorcycle with a helmet. The photography of the sign is just a study image. The first image Universal Pictures had to expose as advertising in the USA was Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts wearing a helmet but the distributor thought it was more attractive an image in which we could see the faces with more detail.
